Turkish Airlines has announced an initiative that will appeal to connected travelers: offering free, unlimited Wi-Fi throughout its fleet by the end of 2025. This decision marks an important step in improving the passenger experience, enabling all travelers to stay connected during their flights at no extra cost.

Technology and infrastructure
To implement this service, Turkish Airlines relies on strategic partnerships with companies specializing in in-flight connectivity, such as Anuvu and Profen. The connectivity system Airconnect Global Ku system, already used by several innovative airlines, will be installed on Turkish Airlines aircraft. The system is based on advanced satellite technology, offering a stable, high-speed Internet connection, even at 30,000 feet.
Aircraft types equipped
Installation of the connectivity system has begun on Airbus A321 and A322 aircraft. Boeing 737NG for Turkish Airlines. To date, 13 aircraft have been equipped, and the aim is to complete installation on 103 aircraft by the second quarter of 2023. The aircraft concerned include the following models:
- Airbus A321
- Boeing 737-800
- Boeing 737-900ER
Service features
Turkish Airlines' Wi-Fi service is designed to offer fast, uninterrupted connectivity, compatible with a wide range of devices, including laptops, tablets and smartphones.
