Alaska Airlines is about to embark on a major renovation project for its fleet of Boeing 737. To enhance passenger comfort, the company has chosen the following seats Recaro R2 for economy class and Recaro R5 for business class.

Alaska Airlines and Recaro, which have been working together for almost 12 years, are strengthening their partnership by showcasing high-quality seats. Recaro, a German company specializing in aircraft seats, will supply seats that combine comfort and modernity.
Features of Recaro R2 and R5 Seats
The seats Recaro R5 will be equipped with several innovative features to enhance the passenger experience, including :

Enhanced Economy Class

Deployment of the new seats will begin in the autumn, with the renovation of 79 Boeing 737-900ERincreasing the number of Premium Class seats from 24 to 30. Subsequently, 59 Boeing 737-800 will also see an increase in first-class seats from 12 to 16 by 2025.
