As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, air travel is becoming increasingly controlled. Many airports are requiring more and more documentation prior to boarding. With this in mind, Qatar Airways has introduced the Verified to fly system for rapid control of COVID-19 parts. Here are a few details.

A further step towards maintaining health standards

Verified to fly is a verification method initiated by Qatar Airways. It speeds up the process of verifying documents relating to the coronavirus. In other words, it also gives travellers greater confidence before taking their flight. Travelers have 7 days in which to send the required documents to the airline. These include COVID tests and a health pass. Once the verification has been successfully completed, it is confirmed to the traveler.

Qatar Airways also reminds passengers to have a valid passport and visa. These two documents are essential for all airline travel. A message on the Qatar Airways French page reassures passengers that they ''arrive at the airport confident in the knowledge that they have met all COVID requirements before their flight''.

It's a win-win partnership between the company and travelers, as it boosts business at the destination airport. It also eliminates the need for customers to line up in front of counters to check COVID documents.

A way to save more time

Getting your Verified to fly validation is very simple. Go to the airline's website. You'll see a page with a link that says: "obtain verified to fly approval". Clicking on this link takes you to the "Manage my booking" page. On this page you will be asked for your flight number and contact details. Once you've entered them, you'll receive an e-mail with the necessary documents, depending on your destination.

Qatar Airways will carry out the check within the seven days specified. All you have to do is go to a Verified to fly counter on the day of your trip to complete the check. Qatar Airways is delighted with the results of the first tests of the system, noting a relatively short waiting time at the counters.

Verified to fly is a benchmark tool for Qatar Airways. Its performance is constantly improving, and it is undoubtedly the most suitable feature for all airport operations. However, the system is still in the experimental phase. More time is therefore needed to reach a high enough level of reliability to recommend it to international airport services.

Please note that Verified to fly does not exclude the usual pre-flight requirements. time saving. It should therefore not be substituted for the controls required for travel.
